Pressure cooker rice
Overview
The rice cooked in the electric rice cooker is always soft and chewy. Today I will put the electric rice cooker out of business and let the pressure cooker take over. Speaking of which, the rice cooked in the pressure cooker is really clear and crystal clear. It not only looks good but is also delicious and chewy. Good food must be paired with good rice

This bowl is 13cm in diameter. Scoop out a bowl and a half of rice and set aside

Wash the rice and lay it flat in the pressure cooker

The 500ml measuring cup is filled to the brim, which is about 600ml

Add 600ml of room temperature water to the pressure cooker and stir with a spoon

Cover the pressure cooker lid and cook over high heat

Cook until the pressure reducing valve starts to shake and time it (note that the timer starts when the pressure reducing valve shakes, not when the pressure reducing valve makes a sound)

Keep the fire on and turn off the fire after 4 minutes. Simmer for 20 minutes and open the lid

Peel it open and take a look. There is no paste in the pot and the moisture is just right

Take out two bowls and take a look. The grains are clear, crystal clear and very chewy
