Ingredients
Steps
-
Put 250 grams of flour, 50 grams of white sugar, and 4 grams of yeast in a large bowl.
-
Continue to beat 3 eggs and 20 grams of oil, first stir into a cotton-like consistency, and then knead into a ball.
-
Push and pull the dough repeatedly on the chopping board. Use a scraper to scrape the dough when it becomes sticky. Continue kneading the dough until it forms a film. Tear off the film and it will look like a round hole without jagged edges.
-
Round it up, place it in a bowl, and cover it with a lid.
-
Let rise to 2x in size. Knead the dough to release air.
-
Divide evenly into 8 portions (about 56 grams) and knead into a smooth paste.
-
Brush all molds with oil and put in 8 rounds. Close the lid.
-
The second proofing will double the size.
-
Brush with thick egg yolk. (I used egg yolk liquid from 2 eggs)
-
Cover with plastic wrap, put in a steamer and steam for 40 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
-
This is the bottom of the mold, it's very flat and beautiful.
-
Brush a layer of honey on the surface and mix it with water (melt the honey with warm water), sprinkle some grated coconut, and that's it.
