Cut butter into small pieces and soften.

Sift the flour once

Add powdered sugar to softened butter.

Use an electric egg beater to stir first, then turn on the power and beat until the color becomes lighter and fluffy. Add the egg liquid in 3 additions, mixing well after each addition before adding the next egg liquid.

Sift in the flour and milk powder.

Knead into dough, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for more than half an hour.

Shape the purple sweet potato filling into long strips.

Roll the chilled dough into a rectangular shape and place the filling on one end of the dough sheet.

Roll up and knead a few times to make the dough and filling fit better. Then cut into 2cm width.

Place on a non-stick baking sheet, coat with egg wash and add cooked sesame seeds.

Put it into the lower shelf of the Dongling oven that has been preheated to 175 degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
