Overview
Ma Shi Ma Shi, also called Mashi, Ma Shizi or Mashizi, is an authentic traditional snack. In the north of our country, it is called hand-rolled noodles and twisted noodles, while in the south it is called cat ears and hollow noodles. The Hui people in the mountainous areas of Ningxia call it machizi, and the Hui people in Sichuan area use to call it sub-face or fish drilling in the sand. Hemp food was created by Muslims of the Semu people in the Yuan Dynasty. The history of this kind of wheaten food can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty. Hu Sihui, the imperial physician of the Yuan Dynasty, said in his famous book "Yinshan Zhengyao": Tudumoshi returns to eating noodles and ties them with his hands.
