Ingredients: old tofu, ginger, garlic, star anise, peppercorns, green onions, dried chilies, bay leaves

Wash the tofu and cut it in half

Heat oil in a pan, add tofu and fry over low heat

Fry until golden brown, then flip over and cook all the surface

Dish out and set aside

Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot and add all the ingredients

Add salt (add more)

Add 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce and bring to a boil over high heat

Add tofu, cover and cook over high heat for about 10 minutes

Turn to low heat and simmer until the flavor is absorbed and then turn off the heat (if you are not in a hurry to eat, just soak it in)

Take it out and let it cool slightly
