Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the required ingredients. (The black sesame powder was not included in the photo)
-
Peel and wash the pumpkin and puree it with a blender. (Raw pumpkin is not as easy to beat as cooked pumpkin. When whipping, you can add a little water to ensure that the mixer can rotate)
-
After mixing the flour, milk powder and yeast, add an appropriate amount of pumpkin puree and knead evenly into a dough of moderate hardness.
-
Leave to ferment in a warm place until doubled in size. Take it out.
-
After the risen dough is flattened, deflated, and kneaded again, divide it into two parts. Add an appropriate amount of black sesame powder to one part and knead evenly.
-
Roll the two types of dough into 0.8CM thick sheets.
-
Spread a little water on the pumpkin dough, place the black sesame dough on top, and press lightly with the palm of your hand.
-
Roll the overlapping dough sheets from the long side into a cylinder shape. (Wrap it up a little tighter)
-
Cut into 4.5CM wide sections. (You can also cut it into the size you like)
-
After slightly shaping the dough, place it in a steamer to rise for 1 hour. When it has doubled in size again, turn on low heat and steam, then turn to medium high heat for 18 minutes. Turn off the heat and steam for another 3 minutes before removing the lid.
