Ingredients
Steps
-
Raw material collection
-
Wash the red dates with water and soak them slightly until soft
-
Use scissors to cut the soaked red dates and set aside (this step is the most time-consuming)
-
Slowly add hot water to glutinous rice flour
-
Knead it into a dough of moderate hardness and non-stickiness (you can’t use up the dough, so I weighed it after making it, and there is still 100 grams left; if the weight of glutinous rice flour is halved, it should be about the same)
-
Take a small amount of dough, about 2.5 grams, and roll it into a small strip
-
Stuff into the red dates and pinch tightly. Do it all accordingly.
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, pour in an appropriate amount of sugar, boil until the water boils and the sugar melts, add the glutinous rice and red dates, turn to the lowest heat, cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and eat.
