Purple sweet potato rolls
Overview
It’s time to steam steamed buns during the Chinese New Year. Add some purple sweet potato and steam some purple sweet potato flower roll steamed buns, which symbolizes the coming of purple energy from the east and adds some auspicious and festive atmosphere to the new year.

First peel and cut the purple potatoes into cubes and steam them

Crush the purple sweet potato into a puree, add 250 grams of purple sweet potato puree to 250 grams of flour, and add 4 grams of yeast powder

Knead into dough

Ferment until doubled in size

While making the purple sweet potato dough, add the remaining 500 grams of flour, 250 grams of water and 3 grams of yeast powder and mix into a dough

The white dough is also fermented until it doubles in size

Let the fermented dough deflate and rest for a few minutes

Roll each into rectangular pieces, about 5 mm thick

Two dough patches are superimposed together

Roll into a roll of about 10 cm
