Slice ginger and a few peppercorns.

Chop green onions.

Wash and cut the spareribs into sections.

Boil the ribs in boiling water to remove the blood.

Add an appropriate amount of water to the casserole, then add the ribs, ginger, salt and peppercorns, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for two hours.

Turn off the heat and add some chives to taste.

Transfer to a bowl and serve.
