Steamed Haihong
Overview
Haihong, whose scientific name is mussel, is called Haihong in the north and mussel in the south. It can be used to make dishes and soups. The simplest and most direct way to eat it is to steam it, peel it off and throw it into your mouth. This is called eating seafood in its original flavor.

The Haihongs we bought back were quite dirty, especially on the skin, which was stained with a lot of connected ropes. Most of the Haihongs we eat now are farmed.
