Slowly add water to the glutinous rice flour.

Make a glutinous rice dough and let it rest for a while.

Wash the red dates and soak them for half a day, then cut off both ends and remove the date cores.

To roll it up like a rose, I used two dates to make a flower. There is no specific method, so you can roll it how you want.

Pick off a piece of glutinous rice dough, roll it into a round shape and flatten it.

Place a red date flower on the glutinous rice dough.

Fold the excess edges up to wrap up the red date flowers.

Prepare everything and place it on a plate (it's best to brush the plate with oil or line it with oiled paper).

Put in the steamer and steam for a few minutes.

Ready to eat.
