Wash the ginger and cut into thin strips

Wash the pond fish, cut into two pieces, drain the water with kitchen paper, fry in oil until golden

Take out the fried fish and set aside

Leave some base oil in the pot and sauté the shredded ginger until fragrant

Spread half of the shredded ginger on the bottom of the casserole

Spread the fried fish pieces evenly

Then spread the remaining half of the shredded ginger on the fish pieces

Shred the red pepper and sprinkle it into the pot

Pour in light soy sauce, then water (almost covering the fish pieces)

Simmer over low heat for 50 minutes
