Wash and finely chop the shallots.

Cut the butter into small pieces and beat with a whisk until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and salt and beat until slightly pale.

Pour in the corn oil and stir to combine.

Add water in two portions and stir evenly.

Pour in minced chives and mix well.

Sift in low-gluten flour

Use a silicone spatula to stir until there is no dry flour left.

Use a medium 10-tooth nozzle on the middle bag of a cloth piping bag and put the batter into the piping bag.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a cookie mat, and pipe on your favorite cookie shapes

Preheat the oven, place the baking sheet in the middle of the oven, and heat up and down to 180 degrees for about 18 minutes. The surface of the cookie will be slightly yellow. Temperature times are for reference only.

After baking, cool down and store in a sealed container.
