Wash the rice, put it in a casserole and add an appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce to low heat.

While the porridge is cooking, clean the chicken, cut it into pieces, add shredded ginger, chicken powder, cooking wine, pepper, and salt to taste and remove the fishy smell.

Remove the heads from the live shrimps, use a knife to remove the black shrimp lines, add shredded ginger, chicken powder, cooking wine, pepper, and salt to taste and remove the fishy smell.

When the porridge thickens slightly, add the marinated chicken. (I left the chicken legs which are harder to cook, so be sure to put them in first)

When the chicken is cooked, add the marinated shrimp.

When the shrimp turns red add salt to taste.

Sprinkle with green onion and cilantro.
