Slippery Steamed Chicken--Bawanghua Red Date Steamed Chicken
Overview
Chicken can be cooked in various ways and eaten in various ways. I prefer steamed chicken with Bawang flowers and red dates. It has a rich flavor. The Bawang flowers absorb the aroma of chicken juice and red dates, making it a great addition to rice. The chicken is so slippery that even my toothless grandpa enjoyed it

Kill the chicken and cut it into small pieces (please ignore the two large chicken legs in the picture, keep them for my baby)

Cut the ginger into shreds, remove the core and cut the red dates in half, wash the wolfberries and set aside

Soak the Bawang flower in warm water until soft, wash it with cold water, cut it into small pieces and put it on the bottom of the plate

Add the remaining ingredients to the chicken pieces, mix well and marinate for ten minutes

Spread the marinated chicken pieces on the flower

After the water boils, steam over high heat for 15-20 minutes. If steamed for too long, the chicken will not be tender
