My son loves braised pork. I tried making it myself and it tasted pretty good

Cut the skin-on pork belly into small pieces and set aside

Star anise, onion, ginger, garlic, bay leaves, chili, set aside

Put the pork belly in a pot under cold water and boil the water for a few minutes to remove the blood. Add cooking wine to remove the fishy smell

Put oil in the pot and add sugar

When the sugar turns brown, add the ingredients to the pot and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the meat

Stir-fry the meat until it is slightly browned, then add an appropriate amount of light soy sauce and dark soy sauce and continue to stir-fry

After the meat is fully browned, add water and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer

After the meat is cooked, add salt and an appropriate amount of rock sugar and cook over high heat to reduce the juice
