Carrot shaped sweet potato bread
Overview
The recipe comes from Sister Lele’s oil-free sweet potato bread. I fell in love with it after making it once. I didn’t expect that oil-free bread can be so delicious. It is indeed an internet celebrity bread. After I got the bread rolls from Chef, I thought I could try the carrot shape. So this carrot-shaped sweet potato bread was born. The recipe can make 12 pieces, but I reduced the amount and made 4 pieces.

Steps
-
Steam the sweet potatoes and mash them. Put all the ingredients in the dough into the bread machine in the order of the bottom layer of liquid, the middle layer of flour, the upper layer of sugar, salt and yeast, and the top layer of sweet potato puree.
-
Turn on the dough mode and knead until a thin film can be formed. This state will be reached in about 30 minutes after the kneading process is completed.
-
After the dough is kneaded, the bread machine will automatically ferment. It will ferment until the dough doubles in size. Dip your finger in flour and poke a hole. If it does not shrink or collapse, it means the fermentation is complete. It takes about 1 hour.
-
Use a rolling pin to deflate the fermented dough, then divide it into 4 equal portions, roll into balls, cover with plastic wrap and rest for 15 minutes.
-
Sprinkle a little flour on the board, take a piece of dough, and slowly roll it into a long strip of about 30 cm. Do this for all four doughs, and then rest for 10 minutes.
-
Use a rolling pin to roll the noodles into a long strip, about 50 cm long.
-
Take out the bread tube and roll it up from the top. Remember to start from the small end of the bread tube and roll it up slowly.
-
Rolled up.
-
Make 4 pieces of dough one after another and place them all on the baking sheet.
-
Place the dough together with the baking sheet in the oven and ferment at 30°C. At the same time, add a cup of hot water for final fermentation. It will take about 30 minutes to ferment until it doubles in size.
-
Place the dough after the second rise into the preheated oven, set the middle layer to 185°C and bake for 18 minutes.
-
While the bread is baking we make the filling. After cooking the carrots and green peppers, cut them into small dices along with other ingredients and mix evenly. After the bread is baked, take out the bread tube and stuff the filling into the hollow in the middle. You can use chopsticks to help. After stuffing, spray the bread with an appropriate amount of water and put it in the preheated oven and bake it at 190 degrees Celsius for 4 minutes.
-
It's ready to eat after it comes out of the oven. There is a surprise when you cut it open.
