Baby food supplement---Purple sweet potato and red date porridge
Overview
My little watermelon is almost 9 months old now! The porridge I have been making for her recently is salty and savory. Today I want to change the taste for her and make a slightly sweet purple sweet potato porridge. She loves red dates. Sometimes I give her a red date with the pit removed, and she can eat it by herself for a while! Moreover, her teeth erupted earlier and faster. Now all four of her upper and lower front teeth have erupted. The sound of biting biscuits is so crunchy! Every time I make porridge for her, if she is in a good mood, she can eat half a bowl and look at the empty bowl, not to mention feeling satisfied in her heart. This is probably the case for all mothers! Haha! (This porridge is suitable for babies over eight months old, and it does not add any seasoning!)

Steps
-
The first step is to wash a small handful of rice and put it into a casserole and cook it into porridge (my baby is still young and can’t eat much at a time, and it is cooked every day, so I only cook two small bowls each time, and it is relatively thin)
-
In the second step, boil the purple sweet potato, peel it and crush it into purple sweet potato puree (if the baby is small, just crush it into puree. If the baby is big, you can just cut it into small pieces)
-
The third step is to put the red dates into the pot and cook them, take them out, peel and core them, and chop them into pieces (chop them into small pieces for babies, if your baby has good chewing ability, you can chop them into larger pieces)
-
After the white rice porridge is cooked until thick, take it out and put it into a special cooking pot for babies. Add purple sweet potato puree and stir well
-
Then add chopped red dates (because the red dates are not cooked thoroughly, it is not easy to crush into a puree), stir well and simmer for two minutes
-
Haha, when you take it out of the pot and put it into a bowl, it’s so delicious!
-
Haha, the baby can’t wait to grab it
