Overview

I bought some Shao Si Bao at Daoxiangcun store, and it tasted pretty good. The ingredients were very simple, just four ingredients: fried gluten, mushrooms, winter bamboo shoots, and fungus. When I thought about making Shao Si Bao by myself, it was very affordable! It tastes great too!

  1. The raw materials are as shown in the picture

  2. Cut the mushroom into quarters.

  4. Cut winter bamboo shoots into thick slices.

  5. Blanch all ingredients (except oil and gluten).

  6. Heat oil in a pot, add 2 cloves of aniseed and dried chili pepper and sauté until fragrant.

  7. Pour in mushrooms and winter bamboo shoots, add dark soy sauce and stir-fry.

  8. Pour in oyster sauce and sugar and stir-fry.

  9. Add boiling water (to cover the ingredients) and simmer for 5 minutes.

  10. Then add the fungus and oily gluten and simmer for a while until the gluten absorbs the soup and becomes soft. Add salt and chicken essence to taste, and it is ready to serve
