Milk knife to cut steamed buns
Overview
I like to make pasta by myself, and I like the milky and wheat flavor of homemade milk steamed buns.

Steps
-
Prepare flour, yeast and milk, and mix the measured flour and yeast thoroughly.
-
Slowly add milk to the flour to form a smooth dough (the amount of milk depends on the water absorption of the flour), cover with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place to ferment.
-
Ferment until the dough is 2.5 times in size.
-
Take the dough out and place it on the chopping board, knead it thoroughly to deflate the dough, and roll it into a long strip.
-
Cut into small pieces and let rest for 15 minutes.
-
Place the risen dough pieces into a steamer, steam in cold water for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and steam for another 3 minutes to prevent the steamed buns from shrinking.
-
The freshly steamed buns are white and fragrant.
