  1. Chop the onion, ginger, and garlic, add light soy sauce, cooking wine, honey, and salt, mix well, spread evenly on and inside the whole chicken, and refrigerate overnight to enhance the flavor.

  2. Cut potatoes, onions and carrots into cubes, add bay leaves, olive oil, salt and black pepper, mix well. Stuff one part into the chicken belly and spread the other part on the baking sheet. Slice the oranges and cut the tomatoes into cubes and spread them on the baking sheet together.

  3. Place the chicken on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with thyme and cracked black pepper.

  4. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees, place the lower shelf, and bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
