Classic Cantonese morning tea – Lotus-flavored glutinous rice chicken
Overview
Every time I go for morning tea, I always order a piece of glutinous rice chicken. I like the faint fragrance of lotus leaves, mixed with slightly spicy chicken and mushrooms. After eating, I am covered in a thin sweat, and I sip the hot tea, which warms my body and mind!

Prepare the required ingredients, dice ham sausage and mushrooms.

Mix light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and water into a sauce.

After the oil is hot, add the ginger and garlic to the pan and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in the chicken, ham sausage and mushrooms and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in the sauce from step 2 and add other seasonings.

Cook the glutinous rice as usual, then mix the cooked glutinous rice with step 3.

Wash the lotus leaves with water, wrap them in glutinous rice, and steam them in cold water for 30 minutes.
