Heat the soup pot + water

Take an appropriate amount of corn grits and wash them in clean water

After the water boils, pour in the corn grits and 1g of edible alkali (in order to cook the porridge quickly and increase the viscosity). The amount of alkali is adjusted according to the amount of water. Too much porridge will make it bitter

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat for 20 minutes. During this period, stir frequently to prevent overflowing and sticking to the bottom of the pot

After 20 minutes on low heat, check the viscosity. If you like it thinner, you can drink it. If you like it thicker, boil it longer and you will be able to master it
