Overview

Prepare ingredients. Black sesame dough ingredients: 10g black sesame powder, 125g wheat flour, 12g fine sugar, 65g milk, 1g yeast. Just omit 10 grams of black sesame powder from the original dough ingredients.

Knead the two dough ingredients separately and put them in a bread machine to rise until doubled in size. About 1.5 hours.

Take out, deflate and knead until smooth.

Use a dough press to press out two smooth dough sheets of equal size.

Brush the plain dough with a layer of water, stack the black sesame dough on top, then brush with a layer of water, cut off the irregular edges, and divide the dough into two equal parts.

Pour water into the steamer and heat for a few minutes until the water is warm. Then put the steamed bun embryo into an oiled steamer and let it rest for about 40 minutes.
