Sweetness on the tip of the tongue--osmanthus, glutinous rice and lotus root
Overview
Usually when we make sweet-scented osmanthus glutinous rice lotus root, it takes about one to two hours to stew it in an ordinary pot. Using an electric pressure cooker can save us a lot of time. The made glutinous rice lotus root is still soft and sweet, soft and fragrant. After adding the sweet-scented osmanthus honey at the end, the rich aroma of sweet-scented osmanthus suddenly hits your nose.

First wash the glutinous rice and soak it in water for 2 hours

Wash the lotus roots, remove the skin and cut from one end of the lotus roots. Use a knife to cut off two or three centimeters from one end of the lotus root and the lotus root pedicle, leaving it as a lid

Stuff the soaked glutinous rice into the lotus root holes, and use chopsticks to make them firmer while filling. Fill each lotus root hole with glutinous rice

Then close the cut lotus root joints at the incision and secure the seal with toothpicks.

Put the rice-filled lotus roots into the pot. Then add water, brown sugar, jujube, rock sugar, and cook in the electric pressure cooker for 30 minutes

After cooking, let it cool naturally, then soak it in the pot for a while. Slice and top with osmanthus honey.
