Bean paste buns
Overview
Red bean paste buns are a favorite noodle dish for children. If you eat too many meat buns, try a sweet bean paste bun, which is also delicious!

Add water, yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar to the flour and knead it into a smooth dough

Cover with plastic wrap and let ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size

Take it out, knead it to release the air, and divide it into even equal portions

Then roll each piece into a ball and let it rest for 10 minutes

Roll out all the small balls into a round ball with a thick middle and thin edges

Wrap in bean paste filling

Turn the end downward

Poke each one slightly to form a tall cylinder

After everything is done, brush a thin layer of oil on the steamer, put the green dough on it, and let it rise for about 45 minutes (in winter)

After it's ready, put cold water into the pot and steam over medium heat for about 18 minutes
