Steps
-
Peel the taro, wash it and cut it into pieces; it is best to wear gloves when handling the taro, otherwise your hands will be itchy; of course, it is also great to have your husband/boyfriend do it for you;
-
Wash the ribs, put them into a pot with cold water, add ginger slices, green onion segments, and a little cooking wine. After blanching, remove and rinse with water, drain and set aside;
-
Put the wok on the fire, pour in an appropriate amount of vegetable oil and heat it up;
-
Add the pork ribs and fry slightly until brown;
-
Pour in a little cooking wine and stir-fry the ribs evenly;
-
Add a little sugar and continue to stir-fry; the color of the ribs will look better after adding sugar;
-
Add bean paste and stir-fry evenly;
-
Add the taro and stir-fry briefly;
-
Add appropriate amount of water, stir-fry evenly, cover and simmer;
-
After the ribs and taro are cooked, add an appropriate amount of soy sauce;
-
According to taste, see if you need to add salt;
-
Lift the pot and serve.
