Taro stewed chicken soup
Overview
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, my mother-in-law came over and brought a killed chicken for me to make soup. To be honest, I have never stewed chicken soup. I usually braise chicken at home. In my opinion, the chicken soup is stewed whole, the meat is white, and I don’t want to eat it!

Because my electric stew pot is relatively small, I only used half of it. Chop it into pieces and work hard!
-
Wash and peel the taro. I don’t eat it often at home, so I don’t know how to eat it
-
Boil water in a pot and put in the soup ingredients such as star anise and cinnamon. When the water boils, blanch the chicken pieces. Then take the chicken out and clear it. Throw away the rest!
-
Cut taro into pieces and soak in water for later use
-
Put the washed chicken into a pot with water and ginger slices and simmer. After boiling for about an hour, add the taro and add salt ten minutes before taking it out of the pot

Wow, I don’t know if it’s because of the freshly killed chicken or something else, but there’s a layer of oil floating on top of the cooked soup. Frozen chicken in the supermarket can’t stew this effect
