Fried dough sticks
Overview
You can rest assured and enjoy eating the fried dough sticks you make yourself. I really don’t have the courage to try the fried dough sticks sold outside, mainly because the oil is too scary! Repeated use will make it worse than gutter oil.

Prepare the main materials.

Add the leavening agent into the flour and mix evenly.

Add 350 grams of warm water and knead into a smooth dough.

Cover the dough tightly and rest for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, stretch and press the dough into a sheet.

Fold it again and again.

Cut the dough in half.

Stretch the two halves of the dough to about 20 cm each, flatten them gently with your hands, and cut them into long dough sheets about 10 cm wide and 0.5 cm thick. Then use a knife to cut the two halves into 20 pieces. Each dowel is approximately 2 cm wide.

Take two dumplings and stack them opposite each other, then press them in the middle with chopsticks.

Add appropriate amount of oil to the pan and heat to about 200 degrees.

Pinch both ends of each dough stick, stretch it slightly with your hands, put it into the oil pan, turn to low heat and wait until the fried dough sticks float, use chopsticks to fry until golden brown, remove and control the oil.
