Have ingredients ready for later use.

Put water in the pot, add cooking wine, ginger slices, and shallots to a boil, blanch them, remove and set aside.

Put cooking oil in the pot, pour in three tablespoons of white sugar and stir-fry until the sugar turns brown.

Add the pork ribs, ginger slices, garlic, and star anise and stir-fry until colored.

Pour in a spoonful and it tastes very fresh.

Pour in a spoonful of balsamic vinegar and stir-fry.

Pour in an appropriate amount of warm water to cover the ribs, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
