Spinach and egg yolk ten times the porridge
Overview
When starting to introduce complementary foods, the first complementary food must be rice noodles. Many mothers ask when they can start drinking porridge. At least after 8 months, after all, they have just started to introduce complementary foods, and the baby's food intake is limited. The nutritional density of rice noodles is much higher than that of white rice porridge. Eating rice noodles can make the baby's nutrition more balanced (the rice noodles mentioned here are commercially available rice noodles, not homemade rice noodles). If you say that my baby is 6 months old and wants to make this kind of porridge and make it into thin rice cereal for the baby to drink, of course it is okay. This bowl of porridge is really often eaten. Little Yuzi is like most babies. 1. Sometimes she will spit out green leafy vegetables. 2. 80% of her mood is to only eat egg whites without eating yolks. Then this bowl of porridge is especially important. It makes the green leafy vegetables and egg yolk invisible, but it is full of nutrients. The green leafy vegetables and egg yolk also increase the appearance value of the porridge, making babies love to drink it even more. Now I have formed a habit of adding some green leafy vegetables to my porridge, so that the baby can eat the green leafy vegetables unconsciously. The first bite of porridge starts with ten times porridge. The so-called ten times porridge is porridge made from one cup of rice and ten cups of water. Gradually, you can transition to eight times porridge and seven times porridge. Just start adding egg yolks, you can add 1/3 or 1/2 egg yolks, and slowly eat a whole egg yolk. If you are not allergic to the added egg yolk, you can eat a whole egg. Reference age in months: 7M+

Steps
-
Ingredients: 50 grams of rice, 20 grams of spinach, 1 egg
-
It is best to weigh rice and water at a volume ratio of 1:10. You can use a rice measuring cup, add 0.5 cups of rice and 5 cups of water, and the resulting porridge will be 10 times the porridge.
-
Wash the rice and soak it for half an hour. After soaking, pour some linseed oil and stir evenly to coat the rice grains with oil. 🌻Tip: Soak for half an hour to allow the rice grains to fully absorb water. Adding oil can make the rice grains fully absorb the surrounding hot water when they are put into the pot, making it easier for the rice grains to cook and bloom, and the porridge will be smoother.
-
Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil, add rice. Be sure to boil the water before adding rice.
-
Stir in the same direction for 2 minutes, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Put the eggs on the steamer to steam together. 🌻Tip: Stir constantly after placing it in the pot to allow the rice grains to fully absorb the water. If you are lazy and steam the eggs together, you can also cook them in a separate pot.
-
Spinach: Take spinach leaves, blanch them in water for 30 seconds, add some water and puree them.
-
After the porridge has been cooked for about 30 minutes, take out the eggs and peel them.
-
Add spinach puree to the porridge and cook together, cook for 2 minutes and remove.
-
Transfer to bowls. Press the egg yolks through a strainer into a puree. Babies over 8 months old can eat a whole egg yolk.
-
Just to add, I found the porridge is too thick halfway through cooking. Do you want to add water? Be sure to heat the water!
