Sesame cake roll

Using sesame powder to make cake rolls is not only delicious but also very healthy!

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

Egg yolk paste: Mix egg yolks, oil and water.

Sift in low-gluten flour and sesame powder and stir until there are no lumps of flour.

Meringue: Add lemon juice and salt to the egg whites, add fine sugar in three batches, and beat until wet peaks (small curves).

Add the beaten egg whites to the egg yolk batter in three batches and mix evenly.

Pour the batter into the baking pan and smooth it out with a spatula.

Tap the bottom of the baking pan to release any large air bubbles.

Place in the middle rack of the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the surface is golden brown.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the light cream and beat until 8 points.

Spread the whipped cream evenly onto the cake slices.

Use a rolling pin to help roll up the cake slices. Refrigerate the cake rolls for at least 4 hours before serving.
