Stir-fried kale with shredded ginger

Overview

This is a common method used by Cantonese people to prepare kale. This is the simplest method for me. If you want to be more youthful, you can grate shredded ginger, squeeze out the ginger juice and fry it to make ginger kale; replace the fat with bacon and sausage, and you can upgrade to the luxury version immediately!

  1. Wash kale and cut into sections.

  2. Shred the ginger and shred the bacon.

  3. Heat a small amount of oil, add shredded ginger and bacon, use the oil from the bacon shreds to stir-fry the shredded ginger until fragrant.

  4. Add the kale and stir-fry. If the leaves are a bit stale, pour cooking wine around the pot, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, open the lid, sprinkle some chicken powder and salt, stir-fry a few times, and it is ready to be plated.
