Baby cabbage in soup
Overview
Recently, I have fallen into the trap of not knowing how to buy vegetables when going to the vegetable market. I don’t know what to eat at all... Since the National Health and Family Planning Commission calls on us to eat more fruits and vegetables, let’s buy a cabbage home. Speaking of which, a lot of baby cabbage soups need to be added with chicken broth, bone broth, etc. I want to say that if my family stews chicken soup, then it is my turn to eat cabbage... Watch me make a simple soup, the taste is not bad.

Steps
-
Take a photo with the raw materials (I bought cabbage, although it is small...baby cabbage is better, you can have two, the method is the same)
-
Peel off the outer dry leaves of the cabbage, rinse it, cut it into eight pieces from the butt end, and cut it into half of the cabbage (the height of the blade as shown in the picture)
-
Tear open the cabbage with your hands (this way the cabbage leaves will not be cut into small pieces) and cut off the root of the cabbage on the butt side.
-
Cut the garlic cloves in half, slice the ginger, cut the green onions into sections, slice the bacon, and dice the ham sausage, salted duck eggs, and preserved eggs (I put them on a plate for the purpose of taking pictures. Bacon is raw meat. If you put it on a plate, the plate must be washed before serving).
-
Heat the pot, add an appropriate amount of oil, and when the oil is hot, add the garlic cloves and fry until brown
-
Add onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant
-
At the same time, add bacon, diced ham, preserved eggs, and salted duck eggs, stir-fry briefly, and add a teaspoon of ginger powder
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot and bring to a boil. Add a teaspoon of chicken powder or chicken juice (it should be enough to cover the cabbage)
-
After the water boils, add the cabbage and cook with the lid on (it's okay to cook the baby cabbage in between, but the cabbage has a mustard smell. If you don't like it, you can put the cabbage through the boiling water first)
-
Cook until you like it, take out the cabbage and serve it on a plate (if you like the cabbage softer, cook it longer)
-
Pour the juice from the pot into the plate along with the ingredients. (In order to make the color look better, you can cut a few slices of green and red peppers after taking out the cabbage, boil them briefly, and then pour them on top of the cabbage. I personally don’t like it, so I don’t put it in. Because bacon, ham, salted duck eggs, and chicken powder are all salty, don’t add any more salt, otherwise it will be salty)
