Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the beef brisket and cut into small pieces (about 4~5cm long).
-
Slice ginger, crush garlic, cut onions into sections, and set aside star anise.
-
Peel the radish and cut into cubes.
-
Add cold water to the pot, add a few slices of ginger, add the beef brisket, bring to a boil over high heat, boil for one minute and remove the beef brisket.
-
After the casserole is heated, add an appropriate amount of oil. When it is 50% hot, add the green onions, ginger slices, garlic and star anise and saute until fragrant.
-
Pour in the beef brisket and stir-fry until the water in the beef brisket is dry.
-
Add a little cooking wine, half a bowl of light soy sauce and a little dark soy sauce, and continue to stir-fry until the beef brisket is fully colored.
-
Add hot water (the amount of water should cover two fingers of beef brisket), cover, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for an hour.
-
Add the radish and continue to simmer for about 15 minutes. Add salt and a little sugar to thicken the sauce and reduce the juice over high heat.
-
Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
