Tea-flavored yam cake
Overview
If you want to eat some beneficial ice products in the summer, you can try making yam into parfait and sprinkle with matcha powder. It looks like frozen cheese, but the method of making yam parfait is much simpler! The tea-flavored yam cake is really good as a small dessert, especially suitable for those who have a weak stomach and want to eat frozen products... I designed this yam cake specifically for my son, and it has been brewing for a long time... my hard work!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare all ingredients, steam the yam in advance, peel and cut into small pieces
-
Take a pot, add enough water and sugar and cook until dissolved
-
Add yam cubes
-
Use a spoon to stir and press the yam while cooking
-
When there are basically no big yams, use a whisk to continue cooking the yam puree at high speed until it becomes smooth and thick paste,
-
Add milk and fish gelatin powder
-
Continue to cook and stir with a whisk until the fish gelatin powder is completely dissolved and the yam paste is very dense and has some texture (the texture is similar to cake batter, but not as obvious as the latter)
-
Pour the yam puree into the cake mold, let cool and then refrigerate
-
Take out the frozen yam cake from the mold (just like frozen cheese, use a hair dryer to blow on the outside of the mold to heat the inside to release it)
-
Sprinkle matcha powder through a sieve on the surface of the yam cake and cut it into pieces
