Steps
-
Peel the fresh shrimps, chop the shrimps into small pieces, chop the carrots into small pieces, chop the green onions, mix the ingredients, add a little oil, salt and oyster sauce and mix well
-
The dumpling wrappers are ready. I made the dumpling wrappers myself. If you are too lazy to make them, you can just buy them in the supermarket. Put an appropriate amount of shrimp and carrot filling into the dumpling wrapper, fold both sides of the dumpling wrapper in half, pinch once and then the other side and continue this process, or directly pinch and glue the two sides of the dumpling wrapper together.
-
Place the wrapped dumplings on a plate. Make sure there is no water in the plate. You can sprinkle a little flour to prevent the dumplings from sticking to the plate.
-
Boil water in a steamer. If you don't have a steamer, use a rice cooker. If you can steam things, the water will be slightly hot. Put the dumplings in the steamer. If there is a steamer cloth, put it on the cloth. If not, put some cooking oil on the steamer layer (I used a rice cooker steamer) so that it does not stick to the pan. Steam until there is a lot of steam, simmer for a while and it is ready to serve

It’s especially delicious when dipped in seasoning (light soy sauce, white vinegar, and sesame oil are mixed into the seasoning)
