Overview

Autumn is the season for eating lotus roots. Since I didn’t buy pork ribs, it would be good to stew the lotus roots with the meatballs I made earlier. Saves a lot of time in cooking ribs.

  1. Lotus root cut into cubes

  2. Add green onions and stir-fry lotus roots until fragrant

  3. Add water, meatballs and mushrooms and simmer over medium heat

  4. Bring the pot to a casserole, add salt and pepper and simmer over medium-low heat for half an hour

  5. After stewing, the lotus root becomes soft and glutinous.
