Tangyuan with sesame filling
Overview
Usually during the Chinese New Year, the glutinous rice balls made by my mother-in-law are solid, with no other fillings, and are eaten with sticky sugar. In my hometown, vegetables are used as fillings, but they are not called glutinous rice balls. No matter what it is called, no matter what fillings are put in it, as long as your family likes it. This time I made it with my mother-in-law.
