  1. Cut the carrots into small pieces and smash the water chestnuts into pieces. You can also cut some cucumber into dices. I didn’t have any at home, so I used water chestnuts.

  2. Put a little oil in the pot (less oil, because the oil will be used twice), pour in the rice and stir-fry until loose, add diced carrots and water chestnuts, stir-fry for another minute, and add salt. Then set aside.

  3. Add two tablespoons of oil to the pot and add the crushed cooked egg yolks. Fry over low heat
