Sweet and sour grapefruit mixed with lotus root slices
Overview
Lotus roots are on the market in large quantities in autumn. They are white and tender and are very popular. Eaten raw, lotus roots can clear away heat and promote fluid production, cool blood and stop bleeding. Cooked food can nourish the spleen and stomach, benefit blood and promote muscle growth. My favorite way to eat is sweet and sour lotus root slices, which are sour and sweet and very appetizing. I just bought a bottle of sweet and sour grapefruit flavored sauce and mix it with lotus root slices. It is sweet and sour, appetizing, refreshing and delicious;
