My Candy Dream Part 2 - Christmas Cookies
Overview
Originally I was going to make gingerbread for Christmas, but no one in the family liked the taste of ginger powder, and I guess the cows wouldn't eat it, so I changed it to the recipe of ordinary cookies and then decorated it. I have no talent for painting, and I have no inspiration. Please just take a look at it. My painting is a bit ugly, so don’t laugh!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Ingredients: 110 grams of low-gluten flour, 50 grams of butter, 25 grams of eggs, 40 grams of powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt.
-
After the butter is softened, add powdered sugar and salt, and beat with a whisk until even and smooth.
-
Add the egg liquid to the butter in three batches and beat evenly with a whisk. Each time, let the eggs and butter blend before adding the next batch.
-
Sift in cake flour.
-
Knead into a smooth dough.
-
Put the dough on the cutting board and roll it into a thin sheet about 0.3CM thick, and use a cookie cutter to cut out individual dough sheets.
-
Line a baking sheet with oiled paper, place the cut dough slices on the baking sheet, brush with 10 grams of egg and 20 grams of water and let it sit for 20 minutes. Brush it again with egg water and put it in the middle of the oven at 190 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
-
Frosting ingredients: 20 grams of egg white, 150 grams of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
-
Mix the egg whites and powdered sugar and beat, add lemon juice, continue to beat to form meringue.
-
Put icing sugar in a piping bag, cut a small opening at the bottom, and draw any pattern you like on the cookies.
