Asparagus Soup
Overview
Asparagus is in season in large quantities! Asparagus is known as the number one vegetable. It is rich in nutrients and has great anti-cancer and anti-cancer effects. However, many people are not used to the taste of asparagus, and Chinese cooking methods often do not suit their family’s taste. Learn to make a Western-style soup. Wash the asparagus and cut off the older parts of the roots; peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices;

Put the potatoes and asparagus into the steamer together, turn on the steam and steam for 5 or 6 minutes until cooked;

While steaming asparagus, prepare to fry bacon; dice bacon;

Put the remaining asparagus and potatoes into a food processor, add chicken broth (or water), and blend into a paste; (I used a hand blender and blended it directly in the pot)

Put the soup pot on high heat, then turn to low heat, stir constantly, and cook until the soup thickens;

Add pepper to taste;
