Steamed glutinous rice meatballs
Overview
This dish is simple and delicious. Don’t think that only restaurants can make it. It doesn’t take too much time to make it at home. My daughter has bad teeth and likes to eat soft things. Plus, she is a rabbit and doesn’t get tired of eating carrots every day. So I made this steamed potato carrot and meatball. The steamed pork ribs are also made in the same way, but I can’t add vegetables. Because there are children at home, the dishes are relatively light, and few seasonings are added. If the taste is strong, you can add other seasonings; it is based on personal preference😊.

Soak the glutinous rice two hours in advance and prepare the ingredients: peeled pork belly, carrots, ginger, and green onions.

Chop pork belly, green onions and ginger.

Chop the carrots finely.

Mix the chopped meat and carrots together. Fill the steamer with water.

After mixing well, shape into small meatballs.

Wrap the meatballs one by one with glutinous rice.

There was no room for @...@ in the long plate steamer, so I had to replace it with a round plate; after the meatballs were wrapped, the water in the steamer was almost boiling, and the arranged meatballs were put in.

Steam over high heat for 15 minutes until the glutinous rice becomes transparent, then turn off the heat. The carrot juice is leaking out.

Sprinkle with cooked black sesame seeds or chopped green onions (you don’t have any at home) and you’re ready to serve😊
