Braised edamame
Overview
On a summer night, the roadside is lined with various food stalls, with only a few smokes from cooking stoves, people drinking wine and glasses, red-faced people, and hands holding glasses. The noise is not only human voices, but also human hearts. Edamame is actually soybeans without elders, which are picked and eaten when they are still green. Thin plush, green and lovely color, very cute. I don’t know when there was an extra serving of salted edamame on the food stall table. The diners waiting for the food were chatting about their daily life while peeling the edamame beans with their hands. With a slight squeeze between their thumb and forefinger, the round edamame beans popped out of the pods, and then they were thrown into their mouths and gulped down with the bubbling beer. It looks like ordinary boiled edamame, but it adds to the fun of eating. While waiting for the delicious food, have a pre-dinner snack, which is appetizing and fun. Cainaiya especially likes the process of peeling edamame by hand. Looking at the mountains of pods on the table, I feel an inexplicable sense of accomplishment. (Do you guys have any?) On a summer night, with a plate of braised edamame and wine, you will forget all the troubles you have!
