Purple sweet potato rice balls
Overview
This purple sweet potato rice ball is inspired by the Japanese purple sweet potato tea towel twist. The purple sweet potato tea towel twist is wrapped in bean paste. My purple sweet potato is wrapped in rice, cheese/nuts.

Steam the purple sweet potato and press it into puree. If it is dry, add a little more milk to make it moister.

Use plastic wrap to scoop out a spoonful of purple potato puree and wrap it in cooked rice.

Add some cheese or walnuts. If the rice is hot, the cheese will melt right away. If it cannot be melted, you need to microwave it or put it in a warm pot to melt it.

When babies eat nuts, remember to grind them! Don't be so big.

Then grab the sides of the plastic wrap, close the plastic wrap and tighten it, leaving some traces for a better look.

Just remove the plastic wrap and the purple sweet potato rice balls are ready.
