Qiuli ointment-relieves cough and moisturizes the lungs
Overview
My mother has pharyngitis and will cough after eating spicy food, so she made Qiuli ointment to moisten her throat. It is not difficult to make, but it takes a long time. It tastes good if you swallow it directly as syrup or soak it in water

Steps
-
Prepare ingredients
-
Peel and shred the Sydney pear
-
Break the Luo Han Guo into pieces and prepare rock sugar. You can also skip the rock sugar. It’s actually quite sweet
-
Boil shredded pears, Luo Han Guo and rock sugar in a casserole
-
Cook for about 15 minutes until dark brown
-
Remove the remaining pear juice from the residue, continue to heat and concentrate until it becomes as viscous as honey, then add 70 grams of honey when the temperature changes, and it must be cool before adding
-
The finished product is cooled and then covered with a lid. The bottom layer is honey and I haven’t stirred it yet. I made 4 pears and the honey was only as much as a pudding bottle. Everyone’s concentration level is different and the amount is different.
