Making soy sauce chicken for the first time in 2017

The first time I made it, it looked ordinary but the taste was salty and fragrant. A big plate was eaten in one go. It was dinner for the whole family

Pour peanut oil into the pot, then add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and salt, and put the chicken into the pot so that every piece of chicken is covered with the sauce.

Shred the ginger and cut the garlic into small pieces and set aside.

Cover the pot and simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes. About 5 minutes, open the lid and turn each piece of chicken to fully infuse the chicken.

Add ginger and garlic into the pot and cook over low heat for another 5 minutes. The chicken braised in this way is delicious.

Cut into pieces and place on a plate.
