Cranberry Meal Pack
Overview
This small cranberry meal bun was made in one day with the sour cream puff pastry buns. Because I felt that the bun was not done well and the surface was uneven, I was very dissatisfied. After taking a picture of the finished product, I weighed the materials and started making the small cranberry meal buns. This time I used a bread machine to knead the dough, which was easier. After the dough was kneaded, it was almost dark, so I covered it with plastic wrap, and after waking up for dinner, I started shaping it. When time is tight, I choose to save the first step in this way. The second step will fully rise and the bread will be quite good. I originally wanted to make carrot meal buns, but I didn’t have any carrots at home and didn’t want to go downstairs to buy them, so I used cranberries. It feels good to have the sour and sweet fruit pieces in your mouth! Each portion of the bread dough is about 55 grams. Comparing it with the final product, you can see that the flour has a strong rising power~

Put the milk and egg liquid into the bread bucket first, in order of liquid first and then solid.

Then add bread flour, salt in one corner, sugar in the other corner, and yeast in the middle.

Install the bread barrel, select an imix program and start kneading the dough.

After one program is completed, add softened butter and knead another imix program.

When there are 5 minutes left before the end of the program, stop kneading. The dough can already be pulled out into a very smooth and tough film.

Chop the cranberries.

Place into bread pan.

Start the bread machine and knead for another 5 minutes.

Take out the dough, roll it into a round shape, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour.

Then press flat and divide into 8 equal parts.

Round each one separately.

Place the paper mold into the baking pan and add the bread dough.

Cover with plastic wrap and ferment until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 185 degrees. Brush the bread dough with egg wash.

Place in the preheated oven, middle layer, heat up and down to 185 degrees, and bake for 15-18 minutes. Once the bread is browned to satisfaction, cover it with tin foil.
