There was also a leftover whole-wheat steamed bun, which I boiled in boiling water and put in it to make steamed buns again.

For the remaining steamed buns, add water to boil, add cornmeal and mix well.

Put it only warm, add yeast and flour, and knead it into a dough.

Set aside to ferment.

After the dough has risen, knead until smooth and defensible.

Divide into 12 equal-sized pieces and make steamed buns.

The second rise is good.

Put in steamer.

Cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, and steam over medium heat for 25 minutes.

Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes and open the lid.
